It’s Gonna Be A Good Day: Positive Songs To Get You Through

Moms and Dads,

Some of you woke up today and got yourselves ready for work, because you are an Essential Worker.

Some of you are still wearing pajamas and you’re sipping on your coffee, waiting for the kids to wake up.

Some of you are preparing to work from home.

Some of you are preparing to start on homeschooling.

Some of you are juggling both.

There’s laundry to be done. Dusting, dishes, and mopping.

You want to take your kids outside to play. You want to go for a walk.

You miss YOUR parents.

You miss going out to eat and spending hours at Target rummaging through the dollar section.

Some of you are struggling with addictions…

Some of you are struggling with personal issues…

Your problems before Isolation are still there…

You pray for normality…But who knows what that is anymore?

Unfortunately, I do not have a magic cure to all these crazy feelings and worries we are experiencing. I just hope you all find some comfort in knowing you are not alone and every day brings some struggle to us all.

I have no magic cure…But I can try to stay positive. And you can too.

Here are my positive vibes that I’m sending your way:

Pocket Full of Sunshine, Natasha Bedingfield

Smile, Vitamin C

Here Comes The Sun, The Beatles
